'I'm not a coach. I'm just an ex-player. So I'm not stepping on any toes although I'm here. I'll simply just watch the guys, and if the guys ask any questions, I'll hand them over what I have, to the best of my ability. The graduates is an important thing to all organizations, and I'm glad they made a decision to do that here.'

Walker, who said His might consider coaching later on when his children are elderly, joined fellow ex-Rockies guest instructors Pedro Astacio and Ellis Burks, as well as the ex-Rockies about the staff -- Weiss, first-base coach Eric Young in addition to special front-office assistant Vinny Castilla.
